I asked the black & brown human beings of STL who they would recommend for counseling, therapy, and wellness support. “Therapy is the equivalent to the relationship my pick has to my afro. When I pick my fro it gets wider, longer and soft. In therapy, my perspective gets wider, my narrow vision is longer and I learn it is okay to be soft with my human being. Therapy does not magically change my life, as my pick doesn’t change my fro but it is a tool for me to better manage and care for what is very precious.”-Datiana Guerrero
